Q. What is your Sign?
A. Aquarius… and I fit the description to a T! I am proud of being weird, have a good memory for colour, a little *too* honest sometimes and I pour my love out equally.
Q. What is your favourite Color?
A. Orange (Can you tell lol?)
Q. Who is your celebrity crush?
A. Early 2000's 50 Cent
Q. If you could have dinner with anyone who would it be?
A. Frida Kahlo. She was a strong, bold, outspoken woman who turned her pain into art.
Q. What is your title?
A. I feel like I have so many! Makeup Artist, Nutritionist, Public Speaker, Educator, Podcast Host, Friend, Sister, Daughter, Warrior, Bad ass... just off the top of my head haha.
Q. What schooling have you done?
A. I graduated with a Makeup Diploma from Blanche Macdonald in 2006 and earned my diploma as Registered Holistic Nutritionist in 2012.
Q. Which do you prefer, pizza or tacos?
A. Tacos every time.
Q. What is your favourite treat?
A. Cookies (Omg I have no self control!)
Q. Coolest places you've been hired to do makeup?
A. Thailand, Shanghai and Cuba
Q. What are your favourite places you've travelled to?
A. Paris, Argentina and Tanzania
Q. If you could only use 3 makeup products, what would they be?
A. Under eye concealer (I never sleep), mascara (I look like a boy without lashes), and blush because without it, I've got cheeks that don't stop LOL.
Q. What is your makeup philosophy?
A. I want people to see my clients and say "She's so beautiful" not "What beautiful makeup". There's a difference!
Q. What is your style philosophy?
A. The best way to stand out isn't to be the best at the most current trend, it's do the exact opposite.
Q. What is your Starbucks order?
A. Hmmm, either a Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso with an extra shot or an American with one pump mocha. Depends on if on a health kick at that moment or not haha.
Q. What are you most proud of?
A. Still being able to love with an open heart despite all I've been through.
Q. What is your favourite part about being a MUA?
A. Oh my gosh there "so" many things! Can I say three? Haha (1) The transformation (and I don't mean physically) I love seeing woman's confidence go up. She moves different when she's feeling like her best self., 2) Getting to hype someone up and (3) The girl talk! Most of the time we just laugh and share stories and then POOF! She's ready to go. It feels like making a new friend. I love it.
